Lanett Sanker  began singing at the age of four, singing “Sweet Jesus”, and has been singing for the Lord ever since. She moved from San Diego, CA with her parents to Northern, California, and most recently calls Texas home. Throughout her elementary and high school years she performed in choirs and small chorale groups singing 1st soprano. In 1990 she married her best friend, John Sanker, Ph.D.: MGT. who encouraged her to continue singing and helped to produce her first album. After 11 years of marriage, God blessed them with two sons, Shamar and Tarik.

A number of years ago, Lanett was involved in an automobile accident, which involved surgery on her jaw. The doctors told her that a career in singing would be out of the question, however, thanks to the many prayers and the use of her husband’s invention of an automated hydrotherapy machine, she continues to sing, pain-free. Lanett has devoted her life to serving the Lord through music ministry and has recently joined Forever His as backup 1st and 2nd Soprano.
